Whispering Angel Books is excited to announce our upcoming anthology of uplifting and inspirational short stories and poetry, entitled Whispering Angels. We’ll be celebrating personal heroes – real life whispering angels – who have lifted you up, shown you the power of resilience, inspired you to keep going, or guided you in becoming your best self. To borrow a sentiment from “Wicked,” tell us who’s changed your life “for good.”
This is an opportunity to honor those who may not wear capes but whose actions have made a lasting difference in your world. Let your words be a testament to the everyday heroes who make the world a better place. We can’t wait to hear your stories.

True short stories and poems under 1.500 words and written in English. Please title your entry.
Submissions are accepted through the link below by June 30, 2025. Microsoft Word, PDF, or pasted into an email.
Multiple and simultaneous submissions will be accepted. However, if your submission is accepted elsewhere first, please notify us immediately. Previously published material is accepted if you have retained your rights or have written permission from the previous publisher.
If your story is selected, you will be asked to sign our standard release agreement granting permission to publish and attesting it is your original work. It grants us non-exclusive rights to publish your piece and for possible use in the marketing and promotion of the anthology. While we copyright the book as a whole, you retain ownership of your story or poem. You will be given one free copy of the book as compensation, and you’ll be given the opportunity to purchase more at a discounted, pre-publication rate. You are under no obligation to purchase any books, but your support is important to us and greatly appreciated.
As always, a portion of our profits is donated to support charitable organizations providing physical, emotional, and spiritual healing to those in need.’
